Philanthropic, Pretty and Fashionable Fundraiser

The ladies of PPF Consignment are back! This time with another mission: to raise money for the survivors of the devastating tragedy in Japan. In over just 2 days, PPF Consignment successfully raised $2,700 for the "Poor, Pretty and Fashionable" Haiti earthquake in January 2010. The ladies - a motley crew of wall street types, ad executives, health care administrators and accountants got down and dirty to help out and give back every way they could. That meant handing out flyers on the street, cleaning floors and tables, folding clothes and being water girls!
With the support of our fashionable and forever trendy families, friends, consignors and customers, we have once again acquired some yummy donations. Last year, we had some Balenciaga, Moschino, Yves Saint Laurent and Isabel Marant strictly requested by the donor to be used for the fundraiser only and not sold for profit, which was what we did :) We also had an auction from Proenza Schouler themselves: a PS1 bag! Not to mention, Cool Change donated a whole box of their beautiful, signature bohemian sundresses- all new with tags! So don't be surprised if they once again do the same for us! But we will keep this a secret for you to be very pleasantly surprised and for us to see the look on your faces-- priceless! Everything in this fundraiser will be priced at no more than $18, with prices starting as low as $2!! Please join us on April 2 and April 3 @PPF Consignment located on 168 Ludlow St. (Between Stanton and Houston Sts.) for PPF's Philanthropic, Pretty and Fashionable Fundraiser-- Help PPF help Japan. The quake, measured at 9.0, is the largest ever to hit Japan in about 150 years and wiped out many areas while causing flooding to the entire east coast. With thousands dead and many more missing, Japan has estimated their loss to be somewhere between $12 to $25 billion. Japan has often donated when other countries have experienced disasters, such as when Hurricane Katrina impacted the United States. Let's give back to those who need it.
We are currently accepting donations from designers and if you have clothes you want to donate, we'll be more than happy to take it in for you. Please drop them off at 168 Ludlow St. Between Stanton and Houston Sts. New York, NY 10002. We can be contacted at 212.677.7973 or info@ppfconsignment.com.
